The Razzie “winners” were announced last night, and in an unsurprising move, as I have repeatedly called it the worst movie I have ever seen (and I have seen Soul Plane), The Last Airbender “won” a slew of awards, including Worst Picture and Worst Director.
Luckily credit was spread around where due and Sex and the City 2 “won” for Worst Sequel and Worst Ensemble. If there was a category for Best Transvestite Donkey Witch, it probably would have won for that too.
Check out the full list of “winners” here.
My only point of contention with the winners this year is Jessica Alba as Worst Supporting Actress in The Killer Inside Me, Valentine’s Day, Little Fockers, and Machete. Sure, I haven’t seen the first three listed, and they sound terrible and she was probably terrible in them. But Machete? I did see that and she did a really good job in it. Great movie.
Plus it’s just fun to say ma-chet-ay.

It’s probably why they didn’t underline or bold or italicize Machete in that part in the article summary. Even though that summary was so disorganized, it’d be nice if they made it a list as opposed to individual links on the side.
