This is completely different from the last post
Again, another product with blatant misspelling of a word, but this time it’s different. Take a look:
The message at the top, while spelled correctly all the way up until the very last word, DWNLD. Could they not have made the font slightly smaller to accommodate the entire word? (Which is, of course, Dwinlaud). I suppose they have a variety of reasons for doing this. One could be that the 5 digit number you text it to could spell out DWNLD, although this is kinda unlikely. Or, Sprite could try to convince people that they’re getting a “download” of sorts, which most users would be very disappointed that their download actually turned out to be a Dwinlaud.
In any case, I don’t see why they had to shorten the word. Looking at the front of this bottle, every other word is still the right length except for ounces, pints, and milliliters. It just seems irresponsible, leaving out important vowels in a word. It’s almost like missing punctuation in our dear friend Pdrepper’s name. The only thing that might be worse is adding on useless letters to the can and never capitalizing the words. Totally never happens, right?
Right.
