As I was checking the site this morning, I noticed something peculiar. As you all know I like to look for advertisements and their ridiculousness, but this one is currently taking the cake. That advertisers we have seem to have figured out that Evan likes comic books and superheroes. I’m just not so sure that it understands how to convey this message. As such we were greeted with these two advertisements:

After conferring with Evan, it seems that we’ve got the next contest in line. The premise is simple: Name this “superhero” that has appeared in our advertising. Or, if you would prefer, find a different superhero from another advertisement. Either way, you need to come up with their name and superpower, and possibly a background if it will help your case.

The Rules:
1) Entries will consist of a name and superpower as the minimum required entry, but more creativity means a higher chance of success.
2) The Rule Czar will select a winner using the above criteria as a bare minimum for her ruling.
3) Contest is open to everyone. To enter, leave a comment with your description and links to pictures on any contest blog post one of the writers puts up.
4) If you don’t like the superhero we’ve provided, you are welcome to submit another, granted that it is from an advertisement.
5) Contest will run until Friday, August 19 at Midnight.
6) Bribing the Rule Czar with money or food IS ALLOWED. Blackmail is NOT ALLOWED.
7) Outstanding bribes MUST be paid off by August. Promising a bribe and failing to pay up will result in disqualification and public shame.
8) Bribing Matt or Evan with money or food is also allowed, but will have no affect on the outcome of the contest.
9) The Rule Czar withholds the right to append or modify these rules at any time, assuming it is not for a douchey reason. (Douchiness quotient determined by Rule Czar)
10) A prize (TBD) will be supplied to the winner. As per tradition, it will probably be a pizza, or pizza related. Good luck!
