Evan and Emily Play: Brave – The Videogame
Rose and I recently babysat for my four year old niece, Emily. While she was here, Uncle Evan bought her Brave: the Video Game and we played it together to test out my new video capture box. It was a lot of fun, and also a bit enlightening into just how poorly her parents have trained her to play video games so far. I expect better!
Anyway, Emily and i had a great time – here’s the footage:
Also, I tried my best to cut out the spoilers, but if you haven’t seen Brave the movie yet, there may be some stuff in here that keen eyes will figure out. Just be warned if you want to go into the film COMPLETELY fresh.
Also, before she even played the game, Emily decided that Rose should play with us, and she could play as “Princess Brave’s Mom”. As the only two playable characters are “Princess Brave” and a strange blue ghost thing, this is impossible, but it didn’t stop Emily from saying, “Look, there’s you” to Rose any time the queen showed up in cutscenes. It was pretty adorable.
And speaking of adorable, here’s Emily playing the game in her foofy princess dress:
