Fitness Quest Week 5
Been a busy week, so this’ll probably be a quick post, but there is a lot of cool milestones to point out!
Goal 1) I am going to get every achievement in Kinect PlayFit and all affiliated games I own.
Banner fucking week for achievements. A bunch of shit all came together all at the same time.
First, I hit 10,000 calories burned in PlayFit and got this:

The achievement also came with a muscle suit Avatar Award which you can check me out wearing below. Now the only achievements left are to get to 15, 25 50, 75 and 100k calories burned between me and my friends. Perhaps worth noting here: if you are my friend in real life, I would LOVE to be your xbox live friend and grind out this achievement with you. But that’s my criteria – real-life friends. If you just happened to see that I have put a ton of work into this game and would like to be my friend so I will unlock the 100k achievement for you, that is not a good enough reason for me to add you. Please, my friends list is for my friends and while I respect your right to add a bunch of strangers and get those achievements, please leave me out of it, and please please do not just send me unsolicited friend requests. I assure you, I will ignore them, and may curse your unborn children. You’ve been warned.
Next, Your Shape 2012:

This achievement is arguably easier than the “Solid Gold” achievement I got last week, but it takes a similar time commitment. In fact, any achievement I get in Your Shape at this point is probably the culmination of at least 10 hours of exercise. Only six more achievements, two for finishing up the workouts(and “everything”, but I have everything but the workouts done) and 4 cumulative calorie ones.
And finally, Dance Central 2:

I beat the “story” mode on Hard, meaning that all I have left to do is 5-Star every song in the game on hard difficulty. EASY PEASY.
So that’s coming along rather well.
Goal 2) I will be number one in the world on the PlayFit leaderboards.
Not to #1 yet, but i did hit another important milestone:

Goal 3) I will lose weight.
Nope.
Goal 4) I will burn 250 calories every day until I achieve at least one of the above goals.
Yeah, I did. I need to come up with a way of presenting that data that’s interesting, because a list of 7 numbers, all larger than 250, isn’t much to look at.
One more thing to point out: a big welcome to Chris, who is now doing PlayFit with me!
